Our History

Canadian Courts Motel opened in 1995 with a single property. The first phase of construction consisted of major renovations; replacing all water lines, updating plumbing, new wiring and electrical, then a complete remodel of each room with new fixtures and furniture. A second phase of construction added even more updates and renovations to our now spacious and modern rooms, creating an atmosphere of luxury. Finally, a newly updated courtyard, secluded from the street and landscaped with oak trees, ground cover, and mums that bloom from Spring to Fall, will relax the senses. You can even request one of the eleven rooms that open directly to the courtyard area.

In 2001, the former Vic Mon Motel property was purchased and added to the Canadian Courts Motel. The property was torn down to the concrete and frame, then rebuilt from the ground up. A beautiful, new Conference facility was created. The new addition opened in stages from the Spring of 2002 through the Fall of 2004.

The historic architecture of the motel is taken from the old Santa Fe railroad properties.
